This combination served as the basis of his art after arriving in New York in 1924. Like so many who had preceded him, he was fascinated by the energy of his new home. He was particularly drawn to industrial structures, which aligned him with the Precisionist style. These artists portrayed the unusual beauties of highly practical buildings, which Suba regarded as distinctly American.</p>
