PHOENIX (May 20, 2025) – Phoenix Art Museum announces it will once again join museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums initiative for the third year, made possible through the generosity of Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Arizona and Shamrock Foods Foundation. The annual initiative provides free admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families through the summer. The 2025 Blue Star Museums program will begin on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17, 2025, and end on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025. The Museum will also extend the benefit to veterans with a valid ID. For a full list of participating museums, click here.

“Phoenix Art Museum is thrilled to offer free admission this summer to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, who have all made sacrifices and given so freely of themselves in service to our nation,” said Jeremy Mikolajczak, the Museum’s Sybil Harrington Director and CEO. “We are deeply grateful to our sponsors Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and Shamrock Foods Foundation for their support of this important access program.”

The Blue Star Museums program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military, including the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and Space Force, members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps. The program also provides free admission to up to five family members of active-duty personnel.
