
Angélica Becerra is a visual artist and Bradford and Christine Mishler Associate curator of American Art at the Huntington Art Museum Library and Botanical Gardens. She recently completed an Andrew Mellon Postdoctoral Curatorial fellowship in modern and contemporary prints and drawings at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., where she co-curated the forthcoming Dear America: Artists Explore the American Experience at the National Gallery of Art (2026). Becerra has a PhD in Chicana/o and Central American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her scholarship focuses on modern and contemporary Latinx art, and her artwork is in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress’s Prints and Drawings division.
