To Infinity

Although the title of the Museum’s beloved Yayoi Kusama installation references a swarm of fireflies illuminating a summer night, have you ever stepped into the mirrored darkness and instead imagined yourself floating through space, weaving through stars, as another cosmic mass free to just simply exist? Enjoy these works with space-age, sci-fi vibes from the Museum’s collections of Asian, contemporary, American, and European art and fashion design that inspire us to escape the everyday and envision the extraordinary, whether here on Earth or among galaxies far, far way.
