MIrror Mirror - self portrait

ABOUT THIS EXHIBIT

How and where do you see yourself? Artists are often considered the mirrors of society, presenting ideas for us to consider. The artworks in this space show us the many ways our identities are reflected. Through self-portraits, we can examine our faces at a specific moment in time. Altered maps remind us of places we may or may not have been, triggering memories or imaginations. Even mirrors can look back at us, reflecting our likeness while becoming portals into different spaces.
