Love is Love

And love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love cannot be killed or swept aside…Now fill the world with music, love and pride.”

Lin Manuel Miranda

The world is a busy, bustling place, but each summer, love, in all forms, blooms. From fleeting summer romances to lifelong friendships, a mother’s tenderness to small acts of self-care, June brides to old flames, love manifests in so many ways, inspiring joy, nourishing the soul, bringing to life the best of each of us, and showing us our truest selves.

Inspired by Pride Month, this virtual visit explores love in all its variations—as sweetness, as sacrifice, as lust and longing, as companionship. Keep scrolling to see how artists from across centuries and all walks of life have gained inspiration from love in all of its many forms.
