World Tour: British Isles

For many of us, opportunities to travel during the pandemic have been few and far between. In the interest of social distancing, we are pleased to invite you on a virtual World Tour series inspired by works in the Museum’s own collection.

As part of this series, we venture across the stormy grey waters of the Atlantic en route to the British Isles, home to the bustling metropolises of London and Edinburgh and the lush gardens of the English countryside. Enjoy a selection of works from the PhxArt collection that were created by British artists, capture a moment of British history, or simply are inspired by British arts and culture.

Want to continue the journey with us around the world and through the PhxArt collection? Sign up to receive our e-newsletters, featuring great art and suggested music, reading, and viewing lists.
