Phoenix Art Museum celebrates Arizona’s art educators and student artists. The visual arts inspire students to generate original ideas, formulate design processes, work collaboratively, and find creative solutions to complex problems.
Youth Art Month is a national opportunity to acknowledge the important role of visual arts education in schools. Teachers from across the state submitted student work responding to the theme, Building Communities through Art, for recognition during the annual Arizona Art Education Conference. Juried works were then exhibited in the Youth Art Month pop-up exhibition during the annual National Art Education Association conference in Seattle, Washington.
