MEDIA ADVISORY for Creative Saturdays: Free Under 18

As announced in summer 2019, December 8 will be the final Discount Tire Free Family Sunday at Phoenix Art Museum. Through their support of Free Family Days over the past four years, Discount Tire has enabled the Museum to provide 66 days of free general admission for nearly 110,000 visitors. Phoenix Art Museum is deeply grateful to Discount Tire for their support in helping us to increase access to inspiring art for visitors of all ages.

With the sunset of Discount Tire Free Family Sundays, the Museum will now offer free general admission, including special-engagement exhibitions, for visitors 17 and younger on the last Saturday of each month for Creative Saturdays: Free Under 18, which will include interactive programming from noon to 4 pm. The Museum’s first Creative Saturdays: Free Under 18 (#phxartfreeunder18) will be January 25, 2020. We remain committed to removing economic barriers so our visitors may engage with art from around the world.

The Museum also offers two Membership options that will guarantee unlimited admission, all year long. The annual PhxArt Family Membership for $90, includes unlimited access to every gallery and exhibition, free and discounted tickets to select events, discounts at The Museum Store and Palette Restaurant, and more. Likewise, the Individual Plus Membership provides core benefits for two adults or one adult and a guest for $80. Both these Memberships to Phoenix Art Museum are 100% tax deductible.

In addition, the Museum is happy to announce that in January 2020, we will launch monthly subscription plans in an effort to provide a more accessible way for our visitors to enjoy our many exhibitions and programs. The “All of Us” monthly subscription will include all of the same benefits as our annual Family Membership, at just $9 per month. Two other monthly membership levels include “Just Me” and “You and Me” for $6 and $8 per month, respectively. These three monthly Memberships are also 100% tax deductible.

January 25, February 29, March 28, April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25, August 29, September 26, October 31, November 28, and December 26
