Phoenix Art Museum announces National Theatre Live and film schedule for spring 2023

PHOENIX (January 3, 2023) – Phoenix Art Museum has announced its 2023 National Theatre Live and film schedule for the spring season. Beginning in January 2023, PhxArt will offer monthly film and simulcast screenings presented in Whiteman Hall. Screenings include Portrait of the Queen, National Theatre Live: The Crucible, and much more. More information and tickets are available here.

Portrait of the Queen offers an original portrayal of the story of Queen Elizabeth II from a totally new perspective—featuring the most intense, amazing, revealing photographic portraits of the Queen herself, as shared by the extraordinary photographers who accompanied and often created the image of the British monarchy. Filmed live in London’s West End, Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) makes her West End debut in this 21st-century retelling of Anton Chekhov’s tale of love and loneliness. Rated: PG-13.
