Our Teen Art Council is a paid arts-leadership opportunity for Valley high school students. As an ambassador of the Museum, you’ll collaborate with your fellow council members to develop community-oriented projects and events. You’ll also meet with staff and local artists to learn more about careers in the arts and museums.
The 2019-2020 cohort’s projects included:
- Hosting two special edition First Fridays highlighting art and performance by young artists
- Curating Color Vibrations, an installation of the Museum’s collection in Lyon Gallery
- Leading art-making workshops for teens in the fall and spring
